The steel is chosen specifically for its corrosion resistance. The blade is mirror polished for added protection and the ability to clean easily. The handle design is focused on comfort and utility - HydroTread Grip which offers maximum control of the knife even in slippery conditions. A key component is the sheath which is designed with great venting, the molded plastic sheath does not trap water and can be easily rinsed out.
