While most tomahawks are chopping tools, there was a less popular alternative known as the mushroom hook. It was made with a blade designed specifically for stabbing and was capable of delivering deep stab wounds that were quite lethal. Often found with an angled or diamond-shaped point, the double-edged mushroom hook had little or no utility value, but was undeniably a feared and brutally effective weapon. Today, modern manufactured pontoon hooks are very rare (outside of the cheapest quality imports), so we decided to remedy the situation with our own models. They are available in the style of false pipe hooks and have classic angled and diamond blades that can be fully sharpened.
