The limited edition M500 KAMBA DESERT STORM knife was created as a tribute to one of the key events in modern history—Operation Desert Storm in 1991.
It commemorates the moment when an international coalition swiftly and decisively stood up to aggression and, within a short time, liberated Kuwait. The entire edition symbolically references values such as courage, responsibility, and the determination to act.
The knife model was produced in a strictly limited run of 198 pieces, numbered from 001/198 to 198/198. This number is not random—it pays tribute to the 198 Czechoslovak soldiers who faced even the most severe threats during the Gulf War, including the risk of chemical weapons deployment.
The Coyote desert color scheme references the operation’s environment, while the anniversary marking commemorates the 35th anniversary of Kuwait’s liberation.
The dagger blade, made of premium Elmax powder steel, achieves a hardness of 60 HRC and is complemented by a highly durable DLC coating, in this case exceptionally in gold.
The substantial 6 mm thickness is based on the standard model and ensures high strength and durability during demanding use.
The ergonomically shaped handle, made of 3D-machined G10 material in a sand-colored finish, offers a secure and safe grip, supported by a one-piece steel guard. The pommel features a spike designed for emergency glass breaking.
The package includes a self-locking Kydex holster in Coyote color with MOLLE webbing, allowing for both vertical and horizontal attachment. The holster features a laser engraving of a soldier in a gas mask, referencing the deployment of the Czechoslovak chemical unit during the conflict.
Also included is a commemorative card marking this historical event.
As with the standard model, the blade angle is optimized for maximum penetration and toughness, not for general cutting.
