Leathering has always been used to finish the blade. Not only does it smooth the facet at the blade but it also polishes it and the razor blade lasts much longer. This product uses a fine calfskin and a tested abrasive paste to help to clean the blade perfectly.
A coarse (honing) leather is applied to the hard core.
A coarse (green) 6 micron (3000 grit) paste is applied to the leather on one side. The size of the grinding area is approximately 20 x 8 cm.
Excellent product for final dressing of both pocket and kitchen knives, after grinding you will get a real razor blade.
