The SRM Medal model uses a Mono-Chassis Liner construction, which ensures a stronger connection and higher resistance to twisting when using knives with an Ambi-Lock (Crossbar Lock) mechanism. Thanks to this solution, the blade moves smoothly and with minimal friction, while long-term reliability and wear resistance are maintained even during intensive use.
A practical feature is the reversible pocket clip, which can be easily moved to the opposite side of the handle without the need for special tools. This gives the user full variability of carrying according to personal preferences or the chosen grip.
A key technical detail of the design is the Anti-Loosening Pivot Works system. This feature prevents the axial pins from loosening spontaneously, maintaining consistent operation and strength of the joint. Another advantage is its disassembly, which facilitates maintenance and servicing.
The blade is made by laminating 140Cr steel with two layers of stainless steel, achieving mechanical and cutting properties comparable to premium S35VN steel. The laminated structure combines the toughness of the core with the corrosion and wear resistance of the surface layers.
