SRM Medal 255L-GQ2 Laminated 140Cr, G10

Product detailed description
The SRM 255L-GQ2 model uses a Mono-Chassis Liner construction, which ensures a stronger connection and higher resistance to twisting when using knives with an Ambi-Lock (Crossbar Lock) mechanism. Thanks to this solution, the blade moves smoothly and with minimal friction, while long-term reliability and wear resistance are maintained even with intensive use.
A practical feature is the double-sided pocket clip, which can be easily moved to the opposite side of the handle without the need for special tools. This gives the user complete versatility in carrying the knife according to personal preference or chosen grip.
A key technical detail of the design is the Anti-Loosening Pivot Works system. This feature prevents the pivot pins from loosening on their own, maintaining consistent operation and strength of the joint. Another advantage is its disassembly, which facilitates maintenance and servicing.
The blade is made by laminating 140Cr steel with two layers of stainless steel, achieving mechanical and cutting properties comparable to premium S35VN steel. The laminated structure combines the toughness of the core with the corrosion and wear resistance of the surface layers.
The cold grinding process ensures that the hardness of the material is maintained during the final sharpening. By minimizing thermal changes, the blade maintains its optimal structure, resulting in greater sharpness and longer cutting edge life.

SRM stands for "Stay Ready for More," which expresses the philosophy of constant readiness for new challenges in the field. The brand focuses on the development and manufacture of high-quality outdoor equipment that provides users with reliability and durability even in demanding conditions. Each product is created with an emphasis on detailed design, careful selection of materials, and a high level of workmanship. Stainless steels with optimized heat treatment are used to ensure long blade life, edge stability, and corrosion resistance.
The brand is backed by RUIKE Outdoors Tools Manufacturing Co., Ltd., founded in 1998. From the beginning, it has focused on research, technical development, and precision manufacturing of knives and multifunctional tools. By 2000, it had built production capacity capable of mass-producing thousands of pieces per month and established partnerships with leading global brands, to which it supplies products through OEM and ODM cooperation.
The manufacturing process combines modern CNC technology with traditional manual assembly and testing. The surface treatment of the blades includes sandblasting or satin grinding, and the handles are made of materials such as G10, carbon fiber, or reinforced polymers, which ensure ergonomics and a firm grip even when working in rain or frost. Each tool undergoes quality control, including hardness measurements, cutting tests, and stress tests at various temperatures to ensure performance in the range of -20°C to +50°C.
This results in products that can withstand mechanical stress, ensure safety during handling, and support the "Stay Ready for More" philosophy in the long term—whether it's an expedition to the mountains, everyday use, or situations requiring a reliable tool.
