HIGO-JH-ZDP je praktický a snadno použitelný nůž s excelentními řezacími vlastnostmi. Rukojeť vyrobena z duralu, který je lehký a silný. Tento nůž má úhel 30 stupňů v blízkosti poloviny čepele a 24 stupňů v blízkosti špičky s jedním spojeným, postupně snižujícím se úhlem. Tento redukční úhelník je výsledkem trvalé snahy společnosti Rockstead o vynikající ostrost svým produktů. HIGO má vynikající ostrost. Jedná se o odolný nůž se silnými řeznými schopnostmi, který vydrží dlouhou dobu. Střenky jsou připevněny dvěma šrouby, a tak po řezání ryby nebo divoké zvěře lze nůž snadno demontovat a vyčistit.

Japanese ROCKSTEAD knives are the absolute world leader in this field and are at the top of the current steel production possibilities.
ROCKSTEAD knives also have unique blade shapes, taken from samurai swords. Usually convex ground, or even a combination of convex and flat ground. ROCKSTEAD blades thus use the traditions of samurai sword making to create the perfect knife.
The mirror-smooth surfaces of the blades make the most of the properties of steel. The whole polishing process is very tedious, with 400, 600, 800, 1200 and 2000 grit paper being polished. If a scratch is visible on the blade at the end, the whole process is repeated from the beginning. There is no similarly finished blade to the ROCKSTEAD knives.
