The Medford Praetorian Swift is a smaller automatic version of the classic Praetorian knife. Although they were primarily responsible for the defence of the Emperor in ancient Rome, the Praetorian Guard was entrusted with a wide range of duties from fire fighting to the protection of Imperial interests. The Medford Praetorian Swift, like its modern cousins and ancient namesake, can be entrusted with a myriad of tasks from self-defense to everyday chores.
With its aluminum handle, strong spring, wide blade, and variety of available colors, the Praetorian Swift knife is an EDC option that will last a lifetime.

This relatively young company was founded by Greg Medford, a former war veteran who participated in both Desert Storm and Operation Shield. In his youth, Greg was involved in the restoration of samurai swords in particular. The experience he gained both in military service and working with rare, antique swords was later put to good use in the development and production of Medford's own brand of knives.
