The Gerber Covert knife, based on the Applegate-Fairbairn design.The Covert model features a 154CM steel blade, partially serrated, with a pointed edge and bead blast finish. The handle is made of black colored fiberglass reinforced nylon with grip grooves and stainless steel inserts to provide handle rigidity and a roto-lock to secure the open blade. Removable deep pocket clip (tip-down) allows for convenient and discreet carry. Comfortable and practical, the Covert is an excellent tactical knife
