The Pacifico knife was the result of Bob Terzuola and his wife Suz's relocation to San Diego, a place where their daily lives became intertwined with the vastness of the Pacific Ocean. Their experiences with marine life, from dolphins to whales, are ingrained in every detail of this knife. The classic silhouette of the Italian stiletto has undergone a bold makeover: the addition of a distinctive "tail" that evokes the fluid movement of sea creatures while adding a practical fulcrum for gripping and opening.
The denim micarta handle combines a timeless look with resistance to moisture, grease and extreme temperatures. The material's texture offers a sure grip even when wet, while the bluish grey hue references the depths of the ocean. The CPM MagnaCut stainless steel blade, hardened to a hardness of approximately 64 HRC, exhibits exceptional toughness, blade durability and corrosion resistance, making it an ideal choice for everyday carry and more demanding use.
The overall length of the knife is approximately 230 millimetres, with the blade itself measuring around 95 millimetres. The opening mechanism is smooth, seamless and supported by the precision workmanship of the lock, which ensures the blade is held securely and firmly in the open position. The Pacific is not just an aesthetic artefact; it is a functional tool whose design reflects decades of experience and attention to detail.
