And the Böker Plus collection is also appearing for the third time this year after Lucas Burnley and Todd Rexford signalled the launch of a high-quality collector's series with their designs.
The exclusive and strictly limited Böker Plus 2022 collection was developed in collaboration with the Danish knifemaker Jens Anso, whose unique designs have been a source of enthusiasm in the knife world for many years. The Celotitanium knife impresses with its sophisticated Clippoint blade in M390, which has a distinctive ricasso and fine hair finish. It opens with a flipper and is securely locked with a reinforced lock.
The CNC-milled solid wood handle body features a modern wild carbon fiber insert from FAT Carbon Materials with copper-colored inclusions. The spacer, handle bolts, milled titanium clip (tip-up) and ring around the blade axis bolt are also anodized bronze to accentuate the color. Böker - the history of the factory dates back to the 17th century, the original forge was then located in Remscheid. In 1829-30, production was extended to sabres and swords. At that time, the factory employed over 100 blacksmiths and sharpeners. In the second half of the 19th century, part of the family moved to the USA and Canada, where they established further production facilities. The last of the Bocker siblings, Heinrich, moved to Solingen where most of today's production comes from. Boker manufactures knives according to its own designs and those of well-known knifemakers.
The company now manufactures its products in Germany, the USA and Argentina and uses the marketing brand MAGNUM. Böker develops new types and designs itself and employs several designers. The knives are manufactured on CNC (computer controlled machine tools) with the highest quality.
