Detailed information

Product detailed description

Celková délka: 15.8 cm Délka čepele: 6.6 cm Hmotnost: 134 g Tloušťka čepele: 4,0 mm Materiál rukojeti: zelená Micarta Within our Custom Collaborations, we are proud to present - after the locking Minx - the first Boker folding knife by Neil Blackwood. The Pimpsqueak successfully resists being classified to a particular category. Depending on the point of view, it is either the "smallest big knife" of the "biggest small knife" that we know of. Width of blade and handle as well as material thickness are characteristics of a veritable Tactical Folders whereas the overall length and the proportions of the knife rather fit into the category of small and compact knives. On the front, the solid titanium plates carry a green canvas Micarta scale and the back side forms the extremely sturdy framelock mechanism. The Zwischenstück in the handle is equally made of Micarta protrudes like a dorsal fin at the tip of the handle. The beautiful line of the blade is emphasized by the striking two-tone finishing. For this masterpiece we chose the high performance steel S35VN which is especially characterized by the alloying constituent of niobium. As an extra feature, the clip reflects the overall outline of the knife. An ultimate knife based on the design of a legendary knife maker which will inspire both collectors and users.

Böker - the history of the factory dates back to the 17th century, the original forge was then located in Remscheid. In 1829-30, production was extended to sabres and swords. At that time, the factory employed over 100 blacksmiths and sharpeners. In the second half of the 19th century, part of the family moved to the USA and Canada, where they established further production facilities. The last of the Bocker siblings, Heinrich, moved to Solingen where most of today's production comes from. Boker manufactures knives according to its own designs and those of well-known knifemakers.
The company now manufactures its products in Germany, the USA and Argentina and uses the marketing brand MAGNUM. Böker develops new types and designs itself and employs several designers. The knives are manufactured on CNC (computer controlled machine tools) with the highest quality.
