Product detailed description
ANV S100 – simplicity, functionality, and everyday reliability
The ANV S100 is the first model in the new "S" series, which is based on a slipjoint mechanism and a full-length spacer along the entire length of the spine. This makes the knife feel sturdier, more ergonomic, and more functional than the previous Z series slipjoints. The new S series is aimed at users who are looking for a highly practical and inconspicuous EDC tool.
The S100 is ideal for situations where it is not necessary to open the knife with one hand or attract attention. The absence of a lock and two-handed opening make it a great choice even for countries with stricter legislation. The longitudinal drop-shaped cutout facilitates opening and gives the knife its characteristic design.
For the first time in ANV history, the blade is made of Sandvik stainless steel, which is cryogenically hardened to 56-58 HRC. The 3 mm thickness and ANV Swedge/drop point shape ensure versatility in everyday tasks. The elegant stonewash finish and smooth bearing action complete the overall functionality.
The G10 handle offers a new ergonomic solution – a coarser texture on the upper part for a secure grip and a smoother lower zone for comfort. A pronounced index finger groove provides control and a slight guard feel. Although the knife weighs only 68 g, it feels very secure in the hand thanks to its longer tang.
On the back, you will find a new double-sided deep-carry clip with a rounded end for easy pocket insertion. Of course, it also features the typical ANV Lumidot.

The Czech knife manufacturer from Moravské Budějovice is one of the brands that has quickly gained respect not only on the domestic scene but also abroad. Acta non verba symbolically launched production on August 18, 2018, at 6:18 p.m., emphasizing its attention to detail, precision, and clear philosophy from day one. Production includes folding and fixed knives designed for everyday use, tactical deployment, and outdoor activities.
Most models are based on D2 tool steel, known for its high wear resistance and ability to hold its edge for a long time. In addition, modern premium materials are also used, such as Magnacut, with its balanced combination of toughness, corrosion resistance, and stable edge, as well as Elmax and Sleipner, popular among professionals and demanding users. Each blade undergoes careful heat treatment, which has a significant impact on its final properties in real-world use, not just on paper.
The manufacturing process emphasizes precise CNC operations, manual inspection of details, and functional ergonomics. The shapes of the handles ensure a secure grip even in demanding conditions, while the use of modern materials promotes low weight and long service life. The design is not self-serving; each element has a clear role in the overall functionality of the knife. The mechanics of the folding models rely on reliability, smooth operation, and long-term stability without play.
The Latin proverb Acta non verba – deeds, not words – accurately captures the approach of this brand. Instead of marketing phrases, the focus is on real performance, consistent quality, and reliability.
