Today, this family-owned company is one of the world's largest producers of quality kitchen knives and professional sharpening systems. Dick has received several valuable awards for his work, e.g. the Red dot design 2008 for "Die Damaszenermesser-Serie 1893".

Dick is an official partner of the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS), the World Association of Chefs, a non-political trade organization with more than eight million chefs in 75 member countries.
