The Selvans S600 Black is a new version of the iconic Selvans survival knife, which has an all-black design and is made of Böhler S600 steel with a hardness of 64 HRC. The Selvans range is now enriched with a new version that offers a model enriched with the extraordinary properties of S600 steel - perfect for facing any challenge in extreme environments.
Selvans is a survival knife designed in collaboration with Daniele Dal Canto, AIGS (Italian Association of Survival Guides).

Böhler S600 steel (64 HRC) is used for the production of metalworking and stamping tools.

The high content of molybdenum, tungsten and a good proportion of vanadium in its chemical composition provide excellent properties of hardness, wear resistance and toughness. The presence of cobalt stimulates the growth of small uniformly distributed carbides, a property which further increases wear resistance. Selvans S600 Black is hardened and cryogenically treated to achieve an exceptional hardness of 64 HRC; this makes it highly wear resistant and provides a lasting sharpening to the blade.
Böhler S600 contains 4.5% chromium, making it oxidisable. For this reason, Extrema Ratio has chosen the new EXP DARK Teflon-based finish.

The Selvans S600 Black comes with a black Cordura thigh holster, equipped with a MOLLE attachment system that allows it to be attached to backpacks and tactical jackets, ensuring practical and versatile carry.
