This combat knife is the result of a project sponsored by the COFS (Command of Operations of the Italian Special Forces) and its former Commander-in-Chief, General Bertolini - and is also supported by knife collectors around the world - and is a new style of the "paracadutista assaltatore" (assault paratrooper knife) model 1939, which is a famous piece of Italian military history. While maintaining the original shape, structure and proportions, we have managed to reinforce this combat knife, add increased functionality and manufacture it according to current military specifications using modern materials. Minor changes that make it a highly effective and reliable dagger. The included fixed sheath is designed to be worn at the ankle, in the characteristic manner of Italian paratroopers. Version 39-09 OPERATIVO is coated in black oxide, without logo, with calf sheath.
