The blade of the Master Hunter is made of VG-1 steel. With San Mai III technology, it is a sandwich blade composition of layers of steel of different hardness. While the middle layer is made up of hard, high carbon steel, the top two layers are made of much tougher steel to prevent the middle layer from cracking. The blade thus becomes maximally resistant to loss of edge without the risk of breakage. The perfectly shaped Kraton (Long Kray-Ex™) knife handle offers a non-slip surface. It fits perfectly in the hand and allows even very delicate knife handling in wet and muddy environments.
