Orthrus is named after a monstrous two-headed watchdog from Greek mythology, and the name couldn't be more fitting. CIVIVI's Orthrus fixed blade is itself a two-headed monster, created to be the ultimate hidden defensive tool. One side of the irregular blade has a smooth, double-edged edge like a tanto blade, while the other side has partial serrations for cutting fibers such as rope. The orthrus can be wielded as effectively with a forward grip as with a carambit with an opposite grip. The finger ring prevents loss of grip and serves as a glass breaker.
