Product detailed description
Army knife as a memory of the fight against dictatorship when the Czechs fought alongside the British. PER ARDUA AD ASTRA, Czechoslovaks alongside the British in the fight against dictatorship. We are writing history, ANTHROPOID is here.
In the design of the M500ANTHROPOID we have respectfully researched the original FS knife design. Its unmistakable contour and fearsome functionality have always impressed us, so over time we decided to combine this iconic motif with our fulltang design used on other models in the Military line, leaving us with a modern homage to the original heroic deeds.
We coated the massive 6mm thick ELMAX powder coated steel blade with DLC. We machined the guard from a single piece of solid stainless steel to create a 100% safe grip environment. This is further aided by a 3D machined G10 handle with an aggressive texture and knurling around the perimeter. With this combination, you'll always have the M500 firmly under control. We've also fitted the heel of the handle with a sharp tip for smashing anything you need to. Comfortable carry and the ability to draw instantly is ensured by the self-locking kydex holster, which we have also fitted with MOLLE SYSTEM clips that allow you to comfortably attach your M500 to your belt, backpack and vest. Moreover, thanks to its symmetry, the M500 can be inserted into the holster in both directions.

The Czech knife manufacturer from Moravské Budějovice is one of the brands that has quickly gained respect not only on the domestic scene but also abroad. Acta non verba symbolically launched production on August 18, 2018, at 6:18 p.m., emphasizing its attention to detail, precision, and clear philosophy from day one. Production includes folding and fixed knives designed for everyday use, tactical deployment, and outdoor activities.
Most models are based on D2 tool steel, known for its high wear resistance and ability to hold its edge for a long time. In addition, modern premium materials are also used, such as Magnacut, with its balanced combination of toughness, corrosion resistance, and stable edge, as well as Elmax and Sleipner, popular among professionals and demanding users. Each blade undergoes careful heat treatment, which has a significant impact on its final properties in real-world use, not just on paper.
The manufacturing process emphasizes precise CNC operations, manual inspection of details, and functional ergonomics. The shapes of the handles ensure a secure grip even in demanding conditions, while the use of modern materials promotes low weight and long service life. The design is not self-serving; each element has a clear role in the overall functionality of the knife. The mechanics of the folding models rely on reliability, smooth operation, and long-term stability without play.
The Latin proverb Acta non verba – deeds, not words – accurately captures the approach of this brand. Instead of marketing phrases, the focus is on real performance, consistent quality, and reliability.
