The knife is forged from a single piece of 52100 High Carbon steel. This is a high carbon steel that is excellent for hunting and outdoor fixed blade knives where toughness and wear resistance is required in extreme conditions. The blade and body of the knife are coated to protect the knife against corrosion. This finish has a rough texture and so also folds slip-resistantly when gripped. Thanks to the all-mesh Drop Forged construction, the knife is virtually indestructible.
