The SIG Sauer Compound Out the Front, or OTF, automatic knife is a hybrid of G10 material and aluminum that is designed for repeatable one-handed operation.
The textured G10 frame surrounds a 6061-T6 aluminum chassis that provides extreme strength without the associated weight.
It has the same basic handle as the original Hogue OTF, but a more angular handle shape and a more compact thumb slide.
This trigger fires the blade with impressive force and retracts just as quickly.
It is built to last, and will fire repeatedly with repeat reliability.

The foundation of the trigger is a strong, custom-designed, oversized coil spring, which has been thoroughly tested and integrated to provide force throughout the entire range of pin movement.
The double-acting deployment on Out the Front models utilizes extension springs for impressive and repeatable deployment, and a PVD coating for increased wear protection. The result is an automatic that opens authoritatively every time you call for it.
